Spartan Campers started the way all great adventures do, with a dream, a passion, and the drive to create something truly special. It all began with two friends who shared a love for the open road and a frustration with the uninspired, mass-produced campervan conversions on the market. They believed that a campervan should be more than just a vehicle, it should be a perfectly crafted space that enhances every journey, maximising functionality, comfort, and style without compromise.
With nothing but a small workshop, a deep knowledge of camper life, and an obsession with quality, Spartan Campers was born. Word quickly spread about the unmatched craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into every build. What started as a local passion project soon grew into a movement, customers from across the UK came to Spartan for conversions that weren’t just built to travel, but built to last.
Through hard work, countless hours of research and development, and a commitment to always putting the customer first, Spartan Campers has become a trusted name in the campervan world. Today, our vans can be found exploring coastlines, mountain passes, and festival fields across the country, driven by customers who expect the best. Despite our national success, our ethos remains the same: every van we build is made with the same passion, precision, and adventure-driven mindset that started it all.

Meet The Spartan Team
Spartan Campers was born from a shared dream of creating something truly different in the world of campervan conversions. Founded by Gabriel and Joe, Spartan combines years of craftsmanship, innovation, and a love for adventure. They have built a team around them of like minded SPARTANS
Joe – Director
Joe is our hands-on Director who brings over 20 years of experience in managing teams and sparking innovative ideas. His natural knack for leadership and his entrepreneurial spirit have played a huge role in shaping our success. When he’s not busy steering the team, Joe loves hitting the road in his campervan, a passion that perfectly captures his love for freedom and adventure. His genuine approach to both work and life inspires everyone at Spartan, making our brand not only about business success but also about living boldly and authentically.
Gabe – Director
Gabe is a passionate innovator and a key member of our leadership team. With over 15 years of carpentry expertise, including 8 years dedicated to building custom campervans, he transformed a dream into a thriving craft. Gabe’s hands-on approach and eye for quality are evident in every project, perfectly reflecting his love for adventure. When he’s not perfecting campervan designs, you can find Gabe enjoying the great outdoors with his family, exploring nature and embracing the freedom of the open road. His blend of creativity and craftsmanship drives our brand’s commitment to quality and inspires everyone at Spartan.
Stacey – Marketing
Stacey, Joe’s wife, brings a dynamic blend of automotive expertise and heartfelt tradition to the Spartan family. With 15 years in motor trade sparking her love for cars, she also grew up with her nan and grandad always having caravans as kids. After a career break to start her family, Stacey combined her passion for campervanning with her rich background in sales to join our team. Her unique experience and personal connection to the world of caravans infuse our brand with authenticity, adventure, and a touch of home
Neal is the driving force behind Spartan Campers’ craftsmanship. With over 25 years in construction, he brings precision and expertise to every build. Starting as a bricklayer, he spent 20 years at Taylor Wimpey, rising from storeman to finishing foreman, honing his attention to detail. A lifelong van enthusiast and camper, Neal’s passion ensures every Spartan camper is built to last and adventure-ready.
Danny ensures every Spartan camper boasts a flawless finish. With a background in welding, construction, and accident repair, he mastered panel beating, precision painting, and quality control. Now, he leads the bodyshop team, overseeing styling, paintwork, and detailing to ensure every camper is built to last and turn heads on the road.
Kevin – Sales Manager
Kevin is our seasoned Sales Manager who brings a rich mix of technical know-how and diverse sales experience to Spartan. He kickstarted his career running his own wholesale media business before moving through roles as a car salesman and team member at Listers Honda. Later headhunted to join Broadlane Leisure and Allens , he spent 13 years selling caravans and even made an appearance on Family Fortunes. A true campervan enthusiast, his favourite SPARTAN camper is the iconic Neptune Blue, Kevin’s multifaceted background and down-to-earth approach drive our team with genuine expertise and passion.
