Front Seats
Spartan’s Choice – Double Front Bench Seat
The Spartan conversion has been designed around real families, and the double front bench seat is our preferred setup. It allows three people to travel together up front, making the most of every journey. Once you arrive at your destination, it quickly transforms into a comfortable part of your living space.
The swivel and slide base means you can rotate the seats to face the rear, opening up the cab to become part of your living area. The slide function lets you pull the seats closer to the table, creating a proper dining space without the need for extra stools or fold-away chairs. When the day is done, the seats rotate easily to face the open side door, giving you the perfect spot to relax and watch the sun go down.
Other Options – Twin Captain’s Seats
If you usually travel as a couple or on your own, twin captain’s seats offer a different way to enjoy the journey. Each seat is individually mounted, providing more space and comfort for longer drives. With their rotating bases, they can turn to face the living area once parked, creating a relaxed seating setup that’s ideal for unwinding after a day on the road.
Rear Seats / Bed
Spartan’s Choice – Fabworx Rock-and-Roll Bed
The Fabworx rock-and-roll bed is our chosen setup for the Spartan conversion. Its fixed base position makes the best use of space, with full under-bed storage accessible from both inside the camper and through the rear doors.
With five reclining positions, the seat is comfortable for relaxing in the evening, whether you’re reading, chatting, or taking in the view. It also adds two additional belted travel seats, and with full M1 crash testing, it provides complete safety and peace of mind on the road.
When it’s time to sleep, transforming your camper is effortless. Simply pull the release handle, slide the bed forward, and roll out your custom Spartan mattress topper, neatly stored between the back of the seats and the rear doors. In the morning, roll the mattress back up, pull the release strap, and the bed returns smoothly to its seated position — ready for the next adventure.
For those who prefer it, an electric version of the Fabworx bed is also available. With the push of a button, the seat automatically transforms into a bed and back again when you’re done — quick, easy, and effortless.
Other Options Include:
Mobiframe Bed on Rail System
The Mobiframe bed on rails offers extra flexibility, allowing you to slide the rear seats into different positions within the living area. Whether you want more boot space for bikes and gear, or prefer to keep smaller children seated closer while travelling, this setup is a great choice for families and anyone who values versatility.
RIB Bed System
The RIB bed provides a different layout, with its fixed base positioned further forward in the living area, creating a permanent rear boot space for storage. Its unique folding system means you sleep on the reverse side of the seats rather than the cushions. A comfortable and recognised option, the RIB bed is ideal for those who prefer a different design to the Fabworx setup.
Pop-Top Sleeping
Above, the pop-top opens up to create a bright, spacious second sleeping area, comfortably sized for two adults. It’s light, airy, and ready in seconds – ideal for guests, family trips, or when you just want to sleep a little closer to the stars.
The space feels open yet private, with zippered windows and fly screens that keep air flowing and insects out through the night. With the scenic option, the front panel unzips completely, opening the whole space to the view outside. In the morning, you can roll the canvas wide and let the light flood in – a calm start to the day wherever you’re parked.
A custom-fit Spartan mattress topper adds another level of comfort. It’s shaped precisely to the pop-top bed board and fits perfectly even when the roof is closed, so there’s no need to pack it away each time.
Every pop-top we fit is safety rated and professionally installed, with secure latching and weather-sealed canvas. It’s built to stand up to UK conditions and years of regular use – just like the rest of your Spartan.
