Converter of the Year Winner 2025

A weekend of sunshine, music and shared moments we won’t forget

Spartan Campout 2025 at the Warners Show was one for the books. We always say our campervans are built for making memories, but this weekend was full of the kind you don’t expect—the sort that sneak up on you and leave you smiling for days.

We had great weather, a fantastic turnout, and the unmistakable sound of laughter ringing out across the field. But what made it truly special this year was a surprise visit from Levi Roots.

Yes, that Levi Roots—the man behind Reggae Reggae Sauce and a familiar face from TV. What we didn’t expect was just how much he’d love our vans. As he stepped inside one of our Spartan campers, his reaction said it all. “This is inspirational,” he said with a grin. “It’s amazing. It’s special. I feel at home in here.”

And he really meant it. Levi spent time with us, chatting to families, asking questions about the builds, and soaking up the atmosphere. He wasn’t just passing through—he was genuinely part of the campout.

Later that day, Levi got up on stage with his guitar and played a few songs, including his take on “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.” It was relaxed, fun, and full of good energy. Right in front of the stage, one of the youngest members of the Spartan Family was perched on her grandad’s shoulders, dancing along without a care in the world. She had her Spartan hoodie on and looked completely at home—just like Levi had said earlier.

It was one of those little moments that says more than words ever could. A child dancing, her grandad swaying gently to the music, the sun dipping behind the trees, and a crowd of happy people just enjoying life together. Nobody planned it, and that’s what made it so perfect.

As the evening wound down, Levi made his way back over to the van he’d been in earlier. He chatted a bit more with the team, and before heading off, he left something behind—his signature, scrawled proudly on the side of the van. It was a spontaneous moment, but it meant a lot to us. It turned that van into a little piece of Spartan history.

That’s the thing about our campouts. Yes, they’re about the vans. But they’re also about people. About music and food, campfires and laughter, and a community that keeps growing stronger with every event.

We had customers new and old join us this year—families we’d only just met and long-time friends who’ve been part of the Spartan story for years. Seeing everyone come together, helping each other set up, swapping travel stories, and letting the kids run wild—it reminded us why we do this in the first place.

Spartan Campout isn’t about ticking boxes or big flashy shows. It’s about connection. About that feeling of being part of something a bit bigger than yourself.

So whether you were there dancing with us or following along from afar, we hope you felt some of the warmth from this special weekend. And if you’ve never joined us before, maybe it’s time you did. Because this isn’t just about vans—it’s about people, stories, and making the most of the journey.

From Levi Roots feeling right at home in a Spartan van to a little girl dancing on her grandad’s shoulders, Campout 2025 was full of the kind of moments that make you pause and smile. We’re proud of the community we’re building—one van, one campout, and one story at a time. Here’s to more weekends like this, more music, and many more memories still to come.
