Inside the First Spartan Campers VW T7 Build Project

Something exciting is happening at Spartan Campers. Our workshop has officially started work on our first Volkswagen T7 campervan conversion and it marks the beginning of a completely new chapter for our builds. The Transporter platform has always been the heart of the campervan world but the arrival of the VW T7 introduces a new generation of design engineering and technology that opens the door to fresh ideas for campervan living.

For decades the Volkswagen Transporter has been the gold standard for campervan conversions across the UK and Europe. From the legendary classic campers of the past through to the hugely popular T5 T6 and T6.1 models the platform has always delivered reliability practicality and a driving experience that feels closer to a car than a van.
