Meet Maisie Day!
Jeff is one of the newest members of our Spartan community, and his journey with Maisie Day is just beginning! From choosing a rare two-tone colour scheme to planning epic adventures across Europe, his passion for van life shines through. Here’s his insight into the Spartan world, why he chose Spartan Campers, how his campervan has transformed his travels, and what’s next on the horizon!
What’s better than hitting the road with no set plan and the freedom to explore? That’s exactly what Maisie Day has given us, and we couldn’t be happier!
When searching for the perfect campervan, we wanted more than just a vehicle we wanted a lifestyle upgrade. Spartan Campers stood out from the start. No secret handshakes or feeling like an outsider, just straight-talking, down-to-earth folks who genuinely care. They set clear expectations and still found ways to go the extra mile.
So, what did we go for? A Candy White & Mojave Beige two-tone dream machine—one of only two Spartan Campers ever built in this colour. Safe to say, she turns heads wherever we go!
She’s not just any van—she’s too special for the daily commute. We wouldn’t send our nearest and dearest to work every day, so Maisie Day is reserved for the good times! From weekend getaways to holidays, and soon… a grand tour of Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and France! After that? Who knows—maybe the world! (Visas and insurance permitting, of course!)
We’ve been campers for years, but upgrading to Maisie Day means we spend less time setting up and more time soaking in the great outdoors. It’s as simple as finishing work on a Friday, jumping in, and three hours later, we’re somewhere incredible. This van has already changed how we travel, and we’re only just getting started!
Of course, none of this would be the same without my best friend and travel partner—my wife, Mandi. Every adventure is better when we’re exploring together.
Favourite feature? All of it.
Performance? Absolutely brilliant.
Advice for anyone thinking of getting a Spartan camper? Just do it—kit it out with everything, and don’t look back!
