Neil & Tina have always dreamed of owning a campervan, and thanks to Spartan Campers, that dream is now a reality! From their first unforgettable road trip to Cornwall to spontaneous getaways whenever they please, their Ascot Grey & White two-tone camper has completely transformed how they travel. Whether cycling with their e-bikes or simply soaking in the views, they’re loving every moment in their Spartan camper. Here’s their story!
For as long as we can remember, we’ve dreamed of owning a campervan. The freedom to pack up and go at a moment’s notice, exploring new places whenever the mood strikes, was something we always wanted. But it wasn’t until we found Spartan Campers that we were finally able to make that dream a reality.
From the moment we saw the superb quality of the conversion and met the incredibly friendly, no-pressure Spartan team, we knew we had found the right place. Their knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm sealed the deal, and before we knew it, we were driving away in our very own camper!
Pure Class – Our Stunning Spartan Camper
We chose an Ascot Grey & White two-tone exterior with a Cashmere & Champagne interior—and to be honest, we think it’s pure class. It’s even been proven by the number of Ascot Grey campers Spartan has sold since—trendsetters, maybe?
Our van is used purely for holidays and adventures, and it’s already taken us on some incredible trips. Our first journey to Cornwall was unforgettable—having hired campervans before, the feeling of knowing we never had to give this one back was amazing! Now, the world feels like our oyster, and we’re always planning our next escape.
Favourite Destinations & Features
Truthfully, wherever we take our Spartan, it becomes our new favourite place! We usually stay at campsites, but we’re open to trying a bit of wild camping in the future. We’ve also added a bike rack for our e-bikes, which has been a game-changer for exploring further afield. And while we both love every inch of our camper, Tina’s favourite feature is the large wardrobe space (an absolute game-changer), and for me? Well, I love it all!
The Spartan Family Community
We’ve yet to attend a Spartan Family Meetup, but we’re already active in the Spartan Family Adventures group, chatting with fellow owners and sharing experiences. It’s an amazing community, and we can’t wait to connect in person soon!
Would We Change Anything?
If we could tweak one thing, we’d consider adding an underslung water tank to free up extra cupboard space (though this wasn’t an option at the time we bought ours). But honestly, our camper is perfect for our needs.
Our Advice? Just Do It!
If you’re considering a Spartan campervan, our advice is simple: “Get it—you won’t regret it!” It’s been the best decision for us, and we’re looking forward to many more years of adventures on the open road!
