Whether it’s solo trips for peace of mind or adventures with her 9-year-old son, her Spartan van has given her the freedom to explore whenever and wherever she wants. From the stunning coastlines of Devon and Cornwall to the breath taking views of North Wales, Zoë’s journey is just getting started. When I started looking for a campervan, I wanted more than just a vehicle—I wanted freedom, adventure, and an escape from the everyday. That’s exactly what I found with Spartan Campers! The quality of the build, the thoughtful layout, and the incredible rapport with Joe at the show sealed the deal for me. Plus, knowing the Spartan team truly stands by their after-sales service gave me complete confidence in my decision.
My van may still be waiting for its official name (TBA for now!), but it’s already packed with personality. I went with a muted grey/blue/white colour scheme, which was available at the time but honestly, I think I would have chosen it anyway! I use it for everything, both everyday driving and holidays because let’s be honest, once you have the freedom of a campervan, why wouldn’t you?
For me, this van isn’t just about travel; it’s about mental health, exploring, and making memories—whether that’s a solo adventure or a trip with my 9-year-old son. It’s the perfect escape, way easier than putting up a tent, and lets us hit the road whenever we fancy. No stress, no planning, just pure adventure!
Some of our favourite destinations so far? Devon, Dorset, and Cornwall never disappoint, but our most memorable trip has to be North Wales, especially Anglesey—stunning views, fresh sea air, and complete relaxation. Whether we’re wild camping or staying at a campsite, we love having the flexibility to choose.
As for my favourite features? Electricity for the heater (because let’s face it, UK camping can get chilly!), and the versatile bed—absolute game-changers! Performance-wise, the van has been spot-on for everything we need, though I’m already eyeing up a hot water system upgrade in the future.
